It will be the first time the Broadway Musical, which premiered in 2021, has come to the UK. The show will be directed by Owen Horsley, and feature music and lyrics by David Bryan and Joe DiPietro, who are best known for writing the musical Memphis.

Royal fans that won't be attending the show can instead follow the lives of the royal family on Netflix with The Crown as its sixth season approaches.

Netflix's chief content officer Bela Bajaria has said the latest installment in the popular drama will premiere in autumn 2023, as reported by TheWrap.

The sixth and final series of the show will be set across the late 90s and early 2000s, and will see Elizabeth Debicki reprise her role as Princess Diana alongside Imelda Staunton (Queen Elizabeth II), Jonathan Pryce (Prince Philip), and Dominic West (Prince Charles).

This series will address the death of Princess Diana, who passed away on August 31, 1997 following a high-speed car accident in Paris, France, which also claimed the life of her boyfriend, Dodi Al Fayed, and their driver, Henri Paul.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Dominic West detailed the overall tone of the upcoming episodes: "It's a heavy, heavy, heavy season, and a heavy responsibility to get it right, and something I think we all take pretty seriously."

Diana: The Musical will come to the Hammersmith Apollo on December 4, with tickets available to purchase online.
