Loose Women's Andrea McLean is having marriage counselling

Loose Women’s Andrea McLean has revealed that she and her husband are undergoing marriage counselling – just two years after tying the knot.

The 50-year-old TV presenter – who has been married three times – said she and Nick Feeney have been attending couples therapy for five months, to ensure they communicate with one another.

McLean revealed live on the ITV show: “Nick and I have been going to counselling for five months or so, and when I tell friends they go: 'Oh, is everything alright?’

"Everything is great! But we want to make sure as we work together as well – how can we communicate so we see each other as husband and wife and not just business partners?

"A lot of people think going to counselling means there is problem in your relationship, but if you go before there is a problem and learn to communicate – because 99% of all problems are communication. So you learn, why does someone react in that way?"

The former GMTV weather girl met businessman Feeney on a blind date in 2014 after being set up by a make-up artist who works on Loose Women. They tied the knot in November 2017.

McLean’s first marriage was to BBC producer Nick Green in 2000 and they have an 18-year-old son, Finlay.

They split in 2004 when McLean confessed to having an affair with builder Steve Toms, who she worked with on DIY show Our House.

She and Toms married in 2009 and became parents to daughter Amy in the same year. But in January 2012 McLean revealed they had split up.
