Lorde needed an IV drip after boozing it up with Seth Meyers

“Sober” singer Lorde confessed on “Late Night with Seth Meyers” that a “Day Drinking” segment she filmed with the host the previous week left her in rough shape and in need of an IV drop.

“I can’t look at an alcoholic drink ever again,” the 24-year-old singer confessed. “You did kind of destroy me.”

The boozing segment, filmed July 12, began with Meyers serving Lorde a beer, which she didn’t like. They then switched to gin, whiskey, sake, red wine and whatever else Meyers pulled out from behind the bar. Lorde confessed on Thursday’s program that the day after she and Meyers hit the bottle — which included an appearance on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” — wan’t an easy one.

“I had to get a very pop-star thing, an IV drip,“ she confessed. “Someone came to my hotel and administered fluids to my corpse.”
