Lorraine Kelly has criticised Brooklyn Beckham's wedding to Nicola Peltz as "utterly joyless".

Speaking on her morning chat show, Kelly was discussing the intricate details of the wedding between the wannabe chef and Welcome to the Chippendales actor.

Due to an ongoing lawsuit between Peltz's father and the wedding planners, numerous details allegedly relating to the wedding have come out, including the bride being unhappy her roses weren't white enough.

In discussion with her entertainment editor Lucie Cave, Kelly commented: "Can I just say, that sounds like the most utterly joyless wedding, devoid of fun and happiness and all of that."

She added: "How silly that it’s ended up in a courtroom. Whoever wants their private stuff to be there? And it’s their own blinking faults."

The luxurious wedding has become embroiled in controversy since Peltz's father the billionaire Nelson Peltz sued wedding planners Nicole Braghin and Arianna Grijalba claiming they refused to return a deposit after they were fired.

Through the lawsuit, it has been claimed that Peltz spent £85,000 on hair and makeup for the wedding with her mother begging the planners not to tell the bride's father.

It was also alleged that Peltz did not trust Beckham with the guestlist and called his suggestion to name burgers after themselves "embarrassing".

Thousands of WhatsApp messages have been submitted as part of court proceedings with claims that Peltz was "too busy" to speak on the phone and arguments over the wedding band.

The wedding between Beckham and Peltz reportedly cost £3 million and was held in the bride's father's mansion in Florida.

More than 500 guests attended the ceremony including Gordon Ramsay, Eva Longoria, Phil Neville and Mel C.
