Lorraine Kelly has stunned fans by revealing her real name in a social media post.

The presenter baffled many of her followers yesterday (7 March) with a post celebrating her vaccination.

However, eagle-eyed fans were quick to notice that the vaccination card read “Lorraine Smith” as opposed to “Lorraine Kelly”.

One user joked: “Who’s Lorraine Smith”, while another added: “She’s holding someone else’s card, that says Lorraine Smith.”

“Fantastic news! Lorraine Smith! I am shook haha,” said a third person. “Lorraine Smith ???” questioned another.

“You stole Lorraine Smith’s card,” quipped someone else.

One fan highlighted a number of similarities she had with the presenter’s name situation. She wrote: “My name is Lauren Kelly & I’ve been called Lorraine Kelly [...] my entire life, my partner’s surname is Smith so I may also end up a Smith one day.”

Kelly responded: “I am your evil twin!”

In response to the speculation surrounding her name, Kelly explained: “Smith is my married name.” The television presenter married cameraman Steve Smith in 1992.

The 61-year-old implored her followers to also .get vaccinated, stating: “We are so lucky to have the opportunity.”

Kelly is the latest in a long line of celebrities to receive the Covid-19 vaccine, including Dolly Parton, Elton John, Samuel L Jackson and David Attenborough.

Earlier today, Caroline Flack’s mother Christine called out Kelly and Graham Norton for making digs at the star’s career woes in the years before her death.
