Lottery's Worcester office set to move Gold Star Blvd. Monday

WORCESTER ― The Worcester Regional Office of the Massachusetts State Lottery will open Monday at its new location, 135 Gold Star Blvd.

The agency is leaving its office at 151 West Boylston Drive, where it has been since 2006.

Worcester is home to one of six regional offices across the state where lucky residents can claim winnings. The branch also sells scratch tickets and number games tickets. All prizes up to $103,000 can be claimed at the regional offices. Store owners are not required to pay out tickets above $600.

The lottery, which signed a 10-year lease, will share the Gold Star Boulevard building with the Seven Hills Foundation, a behavioral health recovery center.

“With convenient access and on-site parking, a spacious customer service area, and newly renovated office and warehouse space, this is a great location for our customers and our employees,” lottery Executive Director Mark Bracken said in a statement Wednesday.

Regular business hours for all lottery claim centers at the new location will be 8:45 a.m. to4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
