$44,000,000 Lotto Max jackpot won from lottery ticket sold in Toronto, Ont.

Check your tickets Ontario Lotto Max players because a $44,023,273.40 jackpot prize from the July 20 draw was won on ticket sold in Toronto.

Since its launch in Sept. 2009, Ontario Lotto Max players have won over $6.4 billion, including 87 jackpot wins and 714 Maxmillions prizes.

Lotto Max draws are twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays and for each $5 play, players receive three sets of seven numbers ranging from one to fifty. Players must match all seven numbers, in any one set, to win the jackpot or the Maxmillions prizes.

Ontario lottery players can check their tickets from home on OLG.ca, by using the OLG Lottery App or by calling our WIN! Line at 416-870-8946 (Toronto area) or toll free at 1-866-891-8946 (outside Toronto area).

OLG is booking in-person prize claim appointments at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto for claims that require a face-to-face interview. Prize claims up to $49,999.90 should continue to be submitted by mail.

The next Lotto Max jackpot is estimated at $10 million. Players can purchase tickets at authorized OLG retailers or buy online at OLG.ca until 10:30 p.m. ET Friday, July 23 for the draw that evening.
