Lou Malnati's pizzeria to open in Avon next month
Lou Malnati’s will open its fifth Indianapolis-area store next month.
The pizzeria in Avon, at 8806 E. U.S. Highway 36, will open at 4 p.m. March 20 serving its famous deep-dish and thin-crust pizzas, as well as appetizers, salads, pastas and desserts.
The 1,400 square foot space is carryout- and delivery only, with drop-off catering services.
The suburban Chicago-based chain also has carryout and delivery stores in Indianapolis, Carmel and Greenwood, and a full-service restaurant and bar in Indianapolis’ Broad Ripple neighborhood.
Five customers attending the 4-7 p.m. Avon grand opening event with arcade games will get the chance to win free pizza for a year.
Lou Malnati’s is hiring about 50 employees for the new store and is looking to fill various positions at loumalnatis.com/careers or by texting “Lous” to 242424.
