Loudonville Library: Storytime, Lego Club, Pinterest Power, book club

The following events will be held at the Loudonville Public Library:

Twisted Stitchers Groups, 10-11 a.m. Tuesdays, April 4 and 18, Friends’ Cafe. Take a current project and enjoy talking, sharing and learning with others. There are knitting and crocheting teachers. Any type of needle crafter is welcome.

Storytime, 10 a.m. Tuesdays, April 4, 11, 18 and 25. Storytime is designed to engage 3-5 year-olds with stories, songs, fingerplays and crafts. Caregivers need to be present, and younger siblings can attend.

Lego Club, 3:30-4:30 p.m. Thursday, April 6, 13, 20 and 27. Join every Thursday in April for engineering and imagination in action with Legos.

Pinterest Power, 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 11, or 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 12. Each month adults will craft or learn something new from Pinterest. Class size for each session is limited to 12. Sign up is required. The group will make a Pebble People Campfire. A sample will be on display in the library and posted on the library Facebook page.

Library closed in morning: The library will open at 1 p.m. Friday, April 14. The staff will participate in a development session during the morning.

Teen Advisory Board (TAB), 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 18. The meeting concludes TAB for this school year. Celebrate with snacks and friend. Participants will make an upcycled T-shirt bag as a nod to Earth Day. All supplies will be provided.

Adult Book Discussion, 11 a.m. Friday, April 21, Golden Center. This month’s book is "This Time Next Year We’ll Be Laughing" by Jacqueline Winspear. The book can be picked up at the circulation desk. New members are welcome, so come and enjoy coffee, snacks and lively conversation
