“Loudoun County has always had a special relationship with its small businesses, providing hands-on customer service to aid in their growth," Loudoun Economic Development’s Executive Director Buddy Rizer said. "We wanted to ensure that our first Small Business Week back together was centered on celebrating community success."

Throughout the week, Loudoun Economic Development plans to spotlight several local small businesses on their social media pages.

For the past two years, Loudoun County has not celebrated Small Business Week with in-person events due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This year, officials want to recognize how far the county's economy has come.

“As a department and a county, we’re proud of the in-roads we’ve made into new segments of Loudoun’s economy over the last several years," Rizer said. "We will continue to grow those services looking forward, building a bright and inclusive #LoudounPossible future.”
