Louisiana among states most obsessed with Stanley cups, study says
BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — There were 67,000 searches for Stanley cups in Louisiana, a study said.
Experts at JeffBet said they analyzed the number of Google searches for Stanley cups made per 100,000 people in each state. They aimed to find where the craze took off the most. The southern states were in the top 10 most obsessed with the tumbler trend.
They ranked Louisiana as the tenth highest in demand for them with 1,453 monthly searches per 100,000 people.

The study said that Nebraska and Kentucky were the only two states outside the South among the top ten with the highest amount of searches.
The cups are popular right now. Fans at a Target in another state almost fought over a limited edition display. In California, a woman allegedly stole thousands of dollars worth of Stanley cups from a store.
