Louisiana man killed in interstate crash in Tuscaloosa County

A 67-year-old Louisiana man died in a Tuesday morning crash on Interstate 20/59 in Tuscaloosa County.

Alabama troopers said the two-vehicle wreck occurred around 10:49 a.m. about 3 miles south of Fosters.

Robert A. Brown of Leesville, Louisiana, was pronounced dead at the scene. Troopers said Brown was driving a 2021 Jeep Wrangler that struck a 2017 Freightliner tractor-trailer.

Steve R. Miranda, 28, of Tampa, Florida, was the driver of the tractor-trailer, according to troopers. No further information was available.

Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division are investigating the crash.
