Louisiana, Southern Miss, ULM get Sun Belt Conference football East opponents for 2023

The Sun Belt Conference released the league's cross-divisional matchups for the 2023 college football season Thursday.

It will be the second season in the conference's 14-member era and the structure remains the same as it was in 2022 as each school will face two teams from the opposite division, one at home and one away.

Complete league schedules including dates and times for all games will be released no later than March 1, the Sun Belt said.

Louisiana from the West will host Georgia State at Cajun Field and will travel to Sun Belt newcomer Old Dominion in 2023. The Ragin' Cajuns played Georgia Southern and newcomer Marshall in 2022. UL won both of those games.
