Former Louisville men's basketball coach Chris Mack's home is on the market, but potential buyers are going to want to bring their checkbook.

Mack's house in Prospect is up for sale, according to a Zillow listing posted Tuesday. The more than 12,000-square-foot home features six bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, an in-ground pool and a four-car garage, but it won't come cheap – the online listing from Lenihan Sotheby's International Realty set the house's price at $3.95 million.

Cardinals fans may want some of the interior decorations to stick around, too. The online listing shows the basement is decked out with Louisville memorabilia, with a Cardinals logo on the basement ceiling and several supersized photos of the Yum Center and the team. A big "L" logo is also painted on the wall on the stairway into the basement.

The Courier Journal toured the home in 2019. The house, built in 2008 by Stonecroft Homes’ David Lutes, is appropriate for a basketball coach, with ceilings in the basement more than 10 feet high.

Mack stepped down as coach of the Cardinals in January, midway through his fourth season leading the program, noting in a statement that he planned to "focus on my family and spend more time being a dad."

The Mack home is a 6-bed, 9-bath, 12,500-square-foot Georgian-style home built in 2008.
