What bowl game will Louisville football play in? See the latest projections

Louisville football did not end its losing streak against Kentucky on Saturday, falling 26-13 in the Governor's Cup.

That dropped U of L to 7-5. But the Cardinals are still going bowling. But which bowl game will they play in late in December?

Depends who you ask. Experts are divided on the Cards' destination and opponent. We've compiled the latest projections after Louisville's final regular-season game. Here's what they said.

Bowl games will be announced Sunday at noon along with the four College Football Playoff teams, one day after conference championship games are held.

Perspective:Why loss to Kentucky doesn't diminish how Louisville football views season's turnaround

USA TODAY: Gasparilla Bowl

USA TODAY's Erick Smith projects a trip to Tampa, Florida, on Dec. 23 at 6:30 p.m., where the Cardinals will face Memphis. Smith projected the same opponent last week, but in the Military Bowl.

ESPN: Military Bowl, but ...

ESPN college football experts Kyle Bonagura and Mark Schlabach agree on the venue but not the opponent. Both have the Cardinals projected to play in the Military Bowl in Annapolis, Maryland, at 2 p.m. Dec. 28, but Bonagura projects their opponent to be Cincinnati, which just lost head coach Luke Fickel to Wisconsin, while Schlabach projects it to be SMU.

The Athletic: Sun Bowl

The Athletic experts Scott Dochterman and Stewart Mandel project the Cardinals to play in the Sun Bowl against Oregon State, the same projection they had a week ago. That game is set for Dec. 30 at 2 p.m. in El Paso, Texas.

CBS: Sun Bowl

CBS Sports' Jerry Palms also projects U of L to take on the Beavers in the Sun Bowl, the same as a week ago.
