Texas A&M ends Louisville baseball's season: Game 2 super regional score, video highlights
Louisville baseball had its season ended after getting swept by Texas A&M in the best-of-three NCAA Tournament super regional Saturday at Blue Bell Park in College Station, Texas.
After falling to the Aggies in Game 1 in walk-off fashion, 5-4, the Cardinals dropped a 4-3 decision in Game 2. They end their season with a 42-21-1 record, while Texas A&M (42-18) remains perfect in postseason play after going 3-0 in its host regional

Texas A&M catcher Troy Claunch picks off Chris Seng, who was pinch running for Cam Masterman, in the bottom of the eighth inning. The Aggies got the final out two batters later and maintain the 4-3 lead heading into the final inning of the game.

It took only one pitch for Texas A&M's Ryan Targac to tie the game again with a leadoff shot to left centerfield to start the sixth inning.

With two out, Jack Payton singled up the middle to score Ben Metzinger, giving the Cardinals the 3-2 lead. Will Johnston replaced Micah Dallas on the mound for Texas A&M right after.

Texas A&M starting pitcher Micah Dallas capped off a 1-2-3 inning by striking out Logan Beard, closing out fourth inning. Dallas currently had four strikeouts and the score remains tied, 2-2.

Junior catcher Dalton Rushing, an early round MLB draft prospect this summer, gave the Cardinals another fast start when he, as the third batter of the frame, ripped a shot deep to right field for a 2-0 lead. It was Rushing's second home run of the NCAA tournament.
