Louisville women's basketball schedule: See the Cardinals' full 2022-23 slate

The Louisville women's basketball team's full schedule has now been released with the ACC schedule coming out Wednesday morning as the Cardinals look to follow up last season's Final Four run.

The Cardinals open the conference schedule at Pittsburgh on Dec. 18 then host the Panthers on Jan. 8. U of L's first home conference game will be against Syracuse on Dec. 29 to end the year. The team then plays at Duke on New Year's Day.

Louisville will have nine conference home games as part of the 18-game league slate. That includes hosting NC State on Jan. 22 and North Carolina on Feb. 5. The Wolfpack, Cardinals and Tar Heels finished as the respective top three teams in the ACC last year with the Wolfpack winning the both the regular season and tournament conference titles.

Louisville, which went 16-2 in conference play a year ago, was the final ACC team standing in the NCAA tournament, making the Final Four for the fourth time in program history as the No. 1 seed for the third time in the last four seasons.

The Cardinals also travel to South Bend, Indiana to play Notre Dame on Feb. 16 before hosting the Irish 10 days later for the final game of the regular season. The ACC tournament is set for March 1-5.

U of L officially begins the 2022-23 season by hosting Cincinnati on Nov. 7 at the KFC Yum Center. The Cards will play three games that week, including a road contest against Belmont in Nashville, before departing for Paradise Island, Bahamas, to participate in the Battle 4 Atlantis Tournament from Nov. 19-21.

Louisville is guaranteed three games during its trip to the Caribbean, starting with Gonzaga on Nov. 19 then either Marquette or Texas the next day.

U of L's final marquee matchup of November comes against Ohio State in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge. The Cardinals will host the Buckeyes, who are coming off a trip to the Sweet 16 last season.

Louisville women's basketball:Who's returning, who's leaving for Cardinals in 2022-23 season?

December brings with it a more road-heavy slate, including the annual rivalry game against Kentucky in Lexington. One of those trips, however, will be a return to Freedom Hall to face Bellarmine on Dec. 14 before taking on DePaul a week later for the final nonconference game of the year.

Here's a look at U of L's full schedule. Tipoff times have not yet been announced.
