From Monday through Wednesday, temperatures will reach as high as 93, well above normal temperatures this time of year, said Brian Schoettmer, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Louisville.

However, by Thursday afternoon, temperatures will only get as high as 75 degrees, nearly a 20-degree dropoff in the span of 24 hours.

"We're going from well above normal to pretty well below normal," Schoettmer said. "Normal for this time of year is 82 (degrees) as a high."

Though temperatures will be all over the place, weather patterns will stay "pretty quiet" throughout the week, he said. Other than showers on Monday, Schoettmer said there will not be any more storms this week.
