Love Broadway shows, but can't always get to New York City? No problem.

As it does each year, the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts will again bring some of the most popular traveling performances of hit shows to West Palm Beach for the Kravis on Broadway 2023-2024 season.

For its 15th season, Kravis on Broadway opens with "Chicago" in November, followed by "Mean Girls," "Beetlejuice," "To Kill a Mockingbird," "Jagged Little Pill," "Tina," and "Six." The season closes with "Hamilton" in April.

“The 2023-2024 season features eight productions — a total of nine fabulous weeks of Broadway including several Tony and Grammy Award-winning blockbusters, touching stories of triumph over adversity, laugh-out-loud comedy and revolutionary historical remixes that have shattered Broadway box office records.” Kravis Center CEO Diane Quinn said in a prepared statement.

Here's the lineup:

Katie Frieden in 'Chicago,' which will play at the Kravis Center Nov. 7-12.

'Chicago'

Runs: Nov. 7-12

In short: John Kander and Fred Ebb's classic 1975 tale of woman killers in Chicago's Jazz Age originally was choreographed by Bob Fosse for his star-dancer wife, Gwen Verdon, and contains familiar songs such as "All That Jazz," "Razzle Dazzle," and "When You're Good to Mama."

The show is set in 1928, when the chorus girl Roxie Hart murders her lover and becomes famous for it in crime- and celebrity-obsessed Chicago. Sent to the Cook County Jail, she meets Velma Kelly, whose fame for killing her husband and sister also made her a star, but her fame is now being eclipsed by Roxie's. She vows to renew her career in vaudeville after her acquittal, but it's not clear that's going to happen as her trial date nears.

'Mean Girls' will be on stage at the Kravis Center Dec. 5-10.

'Mean Girls'

Runs: Dec. 5-10

In short: Cady Heron may have grown up on an African savanna, but nothing prepared her for the vicious ways of her strange new home: suburban Illinois. Soon, this naïve newbie falls prey to a trio of lionized frenemies led by the charming but ruthless Regina George. But when Cady devises a plan to end Regina’s reign, she learns the hard way that you can’t cross a Queen Bee without getting stung.

"Mean Girls" comes from an award-winning creative team, including book writer Tina Fey (“30 Rock”), composer Jeff Richmond (“Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt”), lyricist Nell Benjamin ("Legally Blonde") and director Casey Nicholaw ("The Book of Mormon").

Britney Coleman (Barbara), from left, Will Burton (Adam), Isabella Esler (Lydia) and Justin Collette (Beetlejuice) in the 'Beetlejuice.'

'Beetlejuice'

Runs: Dec. 19-24

In short: Based on Tim Burton’s beloved 1988 film, this musical tells the story of Lydia Deetz, an unusual teenager whose whole life changes when she meets a recently deceased couple and a demon with a thing for stripes. With an irreverent book, an astonishing set, and a score that’s out of this netherworld, it’s a remarkably touching show about family, love and making the most of every Day-O!

The musical, with a score by the Australian comedian and actor Eddie Perfect and a book by Anthony Davis and Scott Brown, opened on Broadway in 2019, but its successful run was cut short in March 2020 by the COVID-19 epidemic. It began touring nationally in December.

'To Kill a Mockingbird'

Runs: Jan. 2-7

In short: This play is Aaron Sorkin’s adaptation of Harper Lee’s Pulitzer Prize-winning masterwork, "To Kill A Mockingbird" which was inspired by the author's childhood in Alabama. The story follows 8-year-old Scout Finch, her brother, Jem, and their father, Atticus, for three years. Atticus is an attorney in the 1930s Jim Crow South who defends a black laborer wrongly accused of raping a white woman.

Sorkin's 2018 adaptation of Lee's book tells the story from the point of view of Atticus Finch, unlike the 1960 novel and the classic 1962 film, which told it from the viewpoint of his daughter. Richard Thomas is currently starring as Atticus in the national tour.

"Jagged Little Pill'

Runs: Feb. 20-25

In short: Joy, love, heartache, strength, wisdom, catharsis combine in this 2018 musical based on Alanis Morissette’s music. Directed by Tony Award winner Diane Paulus ("Waitress," "Pippin," "1776") with a Tony-winning book by Diablo Cody ("Juno") and a Grammy-winning score, this electrifying production tells the story of a perfectly imperfect American family.

The musical's story is based on the Canadian singer-songwriter's breakthrough 1995 album, and tells the story of a pills-addicted mother with a drama-filled family life that touches on subjects such as rape and LGBTQ acceptance.

'Tina – The Tina Turner Musical'

Runs: March 12-17

In short: The 2018 musical tells the inspiring journey of how Anna Mae Bullock of rural Nutbush, Tenn., became Tina Turner, the "Queen of Rock n’ Roll." Turner has won 12 Grammy Awards and her live shows have been seen by millions, with more concert tickets sold than any other solo performer in music history.

The musical is set to the soundtrack of her most beloved hits, including "Proud Mary" and "River Deep, Mountain High." It was written by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Katori Hall and directed by Phyllida Lloyd ("Mamma Mia!").

'Six'

Runs: March 26-31

The story: The "Six" wives of Henry VIII remix five hundred years of historical heartbreak into a celebration of 21st-century girl power, says the promo for the musical. Billed as "A Her-Story of the Six Queens," the musical features Catherine of Aragon, Anne Boleyn, Jane Seymour, Anna of Cleves, Katherine Howard and Catherine Parr. Each has a story: divorced, beheaded, died, divorced, beheaded, survived, which they tell in the form of a high-energy pop concert.

The musical, which premiered in 2017, has a score by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss. It won the 2022 Tony for Best Original Musical Score.

The story: "Hamilton" tells the story of American founding father Alexander Hamilton. Featuring a score that blends hip-hop, jazz, R&B and Broadway, "Hamilton's" color-blind casting created a revolutionary moment in theater. Lin-Manuel Miranda ("In the Heights") wrote the book, lyrics and music for the show after reading Ron Chernow’s acclaimed biography of Hamilton, whose accomplishments included being the first Treasury secretary.
