Love a good burrito? Celebrate with these National Burrito Day deals

National Burrito Day is nearly upon us and there's a new way to celebrate on April 6.

Qdoba has partnered with Major League Eating to offer the inaugural World Burrito Eating Championship at noon CST, April 6, in the Beer Garden at Milwaukee’s Deer District.

Professional eaters including top-ranked Joey Chestnut will compete for $10,000 in cash prizes. Contestants will consume as many burritos as possible in a 10-minute window.

The event will also debut Qdoba's World Eating Championship Burrito filled with 3-cheese queso, black beans, cilantro lime rice, grilled adobo chicken, guacamole and roasted tomato salsa. Fans at the event will enjoy activities, free food samples, giveaways, music and more.

The World Burrito Eating Championship will also be livestreamed via Qdoba's social media channels on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.

Chipotle

Chipotle has multiple ways to score a free burrito for National Burrito Day.

Burrito lovers can start celebrating early by ordering Chipotle through GrubHub. From April 5-8, the partnership will offer a total of 20,000 free burritos while supplies last to diners ordering $20 or more in Chipotle food through GrubHub. No promo code required. The offer will be automatically applied at checkout on qualifying orders.

@ChipotleTweets will follow suit by giving away 10,000 burritos on April 6 by supplying codes throughout the day to followers who text “Can I get a free burrito?” to 888-222.

Finally, Chipotle app users can use promo code "DELIVER" on April 6 to eliminate delivery fees on orders of $10 or more with a maximum limit of $200 per order.

Moe's Southwest Grill

Patrons can score a burrito for 50% off when they buy one at regular price on April 6 when ordering online, in-store, or through the Rewards App at participating locations.

The order must contain two burrito or bowl entrees. Discount will be applied to the item of equal or lesser value. Kid’s entrees, kid’s meals and meal kits are excluded. The offer is not valid with any other offer, reward or third-party delivery.

Qdoba

The World Eating Championship Burrito will be available for a limited time for online and in-app orders through April 21. Free hand-smashed guacamole and signature 3-cheese queso with is included. Pricing begins at $8.75.

Taco Bell

Score a free Grilled Cheese burrito from April 6-9 with a $20 minimum order in the Taco Bell app. Limit one per patron. Beef may be substituted in the Grilled Cheese burrito for a small fee.

Diners can also claim their choice of a free burrito on orders of $20 or more from April 6-9 when they order delivery on DoorDash, Grubhub, Postmates and Uber Eats.
