Love huskies? SLO County shelter has 6 fluffy dogs looking for new homes

Six incredible huskies are waiting to meet you at the San Luis Obispo County Animal Services shelter.

Two-year-old Blaze was found as a stray in May. He’s an energetic love bug with stunning blue eyes and a light red coat.

Blaze loves to run in the play yard and gets adorable “zoomies.” After frolicking around happily, he’ll brush up against your leg, adorably demanding to be pet.

Gorgeous Canelo is another red husky with a heart of gold.

According to his previous owner, he is housebroken, good with kids and very mellow. He’s well trained and knows the commands “sit,” “laydown” and “shake.”

Sweet Lobo is great with other dogs, housebroken and good with kids. The 11-month-old pooch likes to play fetch, walks well on the leash and is incredibly loving.

Mallow, a husky dog, is available for adoption at the San Luis Obispo County Animal Services shelter in San Luis Obispo.

Precious Mallow is a 5-year-old ball of fluff with a charming personality and belly rub obsession. He seems to be non-reactive to other dogs, happily sits for a biscuit and looks very handsome in his banana hat.

While Mallow likes his walks and is great on leash, his favorite thing is affection.

Marcus, 3, is another belly rub enthusiast ready to make someone very happy.

Three-year-old Winter is a go-with-the flow lady with a gorgeous smile. She’s on the smaller side, good with other dogs, walks well on leash and loves affection.

Huskies as a breed are known to be friendly, gentle, outgoing and intelligent. Could one of these outstanding huskies be the right dog for you? Come find out today!
