Love ice cream? Grab a scoop from one of these 58 shops across the Southern Tier

Warmer weather is on its way and ice cream shops across the Southern Tier are gearing up the season.

Here we've gathered dozens of spots to get your favorite ice cream this year, including those debuting new flavors and opening at new locations. While the season has just begun, ice cream shops are already experiencing a high volume of traffic.

“We’ve been super busy so far,” said Fritz Vail, who owns Sugar Lips Ice Cream Shop. “We had a day where it was miserable out and we had a line to the back of the building. I feel like we’re probably busier at this time than we were last year at this time.”

Ice cream shops are listed in alphabetical order. Have one you'd like to add? Email tpassmore@gannett.com.
