Love Is Blind season two was a runaway success for Netflix when it streamed earlier this year - and now, the couples are back to catch us up on what has happened since the series ended.

After the Altar is a three-episode series that sees the contestants reunited at a weekend getaway, where we learn who's still married, who has split and who are sworn enemies.

Fans of the series will also be pleased to know that there isn't long to wait until season three, as Netflix has confirmed it will launch later in 2022.

In the meantime, here's all you need to know about who made it from season two.

Which Love Is Blind season 2 couples are still together?

Danielle and Nick

They might have had some shaky moments after first meeting, but Danielle and Nick surprised viewers by becoming the strongest couple of the series.

Nick was pretty judgy about Danielle's love of a costume party, a drink and a dance on a table during the main series, but he seemed to have got over it and even hosted some parties with her, including planning the weekend reunion in After the Altar which also served as Natalie's 30th birthday party.

Unfortunately, despite how things might look at the end of After the Altar, love hasn't lasted for the pair who filed for divorce after one year of marriage.

Iyanna and Jarrette

The only other couple still to be married by the time the reunion rolls around didn't have quite such a fairytale romance, as Iyanna has moved out at the beginning of the series.

She's still struggling with Jarrette's fondness for all-night partying and after one too many mornings waking up alone, decided to get some space on her own.

However, it's obvious they're still very much in love and thanks to the most supportive in laws TV has ever seen on both sides, Jarrette has a plan for how he's going to change his ways.

The sad news is that although things look hopeful at the end of the series, it didn't last as like Danielle and Nick, they have now gone their separate ways.

Deepti and Shake

Well, there is no Deepti and Shake - and no Shake at all, as far as this series is concerned.

Fans will remember he went fully scorched earth in the reunion episode at the end of the main series, managing to insult not just Deepti who had refused to marry him, but also most of the other contestants and even host Vanessa Lachey.

It's safe to say no one is particularly sorry that he doesn't turn up to the reunion, and everyone's favourite bride Deepti finally looks to have met her Prince Charming - in another of the grooms, Kyle.

He laid into Shake at the last reunion for wasting his chances with Deepti and it seems he wasn't just trying to save her blushes, as the pair have been spending almost every day together since then.

Shaina and Kyle

It's hard to remember that Shaina and Kyle were once together as there has been so much water under the bridge for both of them since then, involving a wide variety of other couples.

Shaina called off the engagement after a brief time together when she realised she still had feelings for Shayne, causing no end of friction with his partner Natalie.

After the Altar tries to fool us that Shayne and Shaina are now a couple, but it's quickly revealed that she has actually become engaged to new partner Christos - although she stayed close friends with Shayne, and rumours are still flying.

Meanwhile, Kyle looks so smitten with Deepti that it's impossible to imagine him with anyone else, as the pair become the surprise love story of the season.

The latest news for Shaina and Christos is that they are newly married.

Natalie and Shayne

Fans desperately wanted to see it work between Natalie and Shayne, but her refusal to marry him at the wedding ceremony was far from the end of their heartache.

Shayne explains that they've been re-engaged, unengaged, and on and off a number of times, but their most recent contact was Natalie saying she wants nothing more to do with him.

That means Shayne doesn't come along to the weekend away, but is featured in various other catch-up scenes as he denies Natalie's claims that they split because he was texting Shaina throughout their relationship.

Natalie's 80s party gets a little tense when Shaina and Christos turn up, hoping to toast their engagement - but instead face disapproving looks from those Natalie has spoken to first.

Mallory and Salvador

By far the most awkward scenes from the catch-up series involve Mallory, Salvador, and his very enthusiastic new girlfriend, Jessi.

There was heartbreak for the former couple at the altar when Sal decided he couldn't marry Mallory, who'd finally decided she was ready to commit to him.

She's clearly still shaken by the experience, tearfully explaining to the cameras that she has spent lots of time in therapy, but she's dealt a cruel blow when Sal decides to turn up to the weekend break with Jessi, who quickly becomes the centre of attention.

Mallory and Sal almost manage to bury the hatchet, before Jessi steps in to make things awkward again and somehow Sal paints Mallory as the one causing problems.

He also tells a strange tale accusing her of being drunk and in a random man's car just days before their wedding, claiming it is the reason he said no to marrying her, although Mallory insists she was simply catching up with a lifelong friend and accuses him of using "any excuse to play the victim".
