Love Island 2020 unveils 12 Casa Amor bombshells
Love Island 2020 has brought Summer to January with our contestants coupling up in South Africa, and soon after the latest Casa Amor reveal comes the full reveal of our 12 new bombshells.
From a "fun, fiesty" sales professional whose best feature is her bum (her words), to a truly humble estate agent who "is going to be modest and give myself an 8.5 even though I think I am a 10", these are the dozen newcomers about to mix things up.
Jade Affleck, 25, from Yarm
Sales Professional
"I’m fun, feisty and ready to meet someone perfect to take home to my mum and dad," says Jade, a self-proclaimed tomboy who likes a spot of welding.
"My family’s seal of approval is very important to me."
She adds: "I’m an 8 out of 10 and my best feature is my bum." And so naturally 'Milkshake' by Kelis is the song that sums her up her lovelife.
Her perfect man? "He has to be funny, have nice teeth and make me laugh. That’s all I ask for." Arrogance is a no-no though. "I hate someone who is too sure of themselves and who you can’t have a laugh with."
Priscilla Anyabu, 25, from Battersea
Model and Operations Manager
Describing herself as "Outgoing, kind and stylish," Priscilla's celeb crush is Justin Timberlake. "He’s got better with age, he’s like fine wine."
She might look familiar too, due to her modelling career.
"I did a few pageants. I won Miss Face of Africa, that was nice," she says. "I’ve done quite a few music videos in the Afrobeat industry, including for Fuse ODG and Wretch 32."
And who is she eying up in the villa already? Mike, Nas and Luke M.
Jamie McCann , 24, from North Ayrshire
Eyelash Technician
"I’ll give myself an 8 out of 10," says Jamie. "I get complimented on my boobs but also I’ve got nice eyes!"
Eyes are important to Jamie, which makes sense given her dayjob as an eyelash technician.
"I’ve got a lot that I look for in a guy," she admits. "They need to have nice eyes because I want my future kids to have nice eyes!
"My ideal man would be someone who is not afraid to tell me how they feel and be really loving and romantic."
Let's hope she can find that in the villa, with Wallace and Callum catching her eye. And if she doesn't find love on the show, she's got a thing for Enrique Iglesias and Richard Madden.
Molly Smith, 25, from Manchester
Model
"I drink too much tea!" admits Molly, a model who rates herself a modest 7/10.
"I don’t think anyone’s a 10 out of 10. I do like my nose, it’s like a cute button nose."
She's hoping for a bit more luck in love in South Africa, as its Travis's mopy hit 'Why Does It Always Rain on Me?' that sums up her love life to date.
She doesn't like scruffy guys and the worst chat up line someone's ever tried on her? "'If you were a bogey I’d pick you first'. It didn’t work." We're not surprised.
Eva Zapico, 21, from Bromley
Recruitment Consultant
"How can you expect someone to love you if you don’t love yourself?" asks Eva, as she rates herself an unimprovable 10/10.
"I’d say my hair is my best feature - it’s long, thick and bright."
She unsurprisingly says Beyoncé's 'Irreplaceable' sums up her love life and describes herself as "Funny, sassy and confident."
And when she's not on Love Island, she's picking up guys on the 'gram. "On Instagram if they say something funny, then I’ll respond. I hate people who ask for my Snapchat and don’t even say please. So entitled!"
Natalia Zoppa, 20, from Manchester
Student and Club Promoter
"I can be a bit random… I’m also energetic and adventurous," says Natalia, who also says she is "bubbly, a bit weird sometimes and I like to make people laugh."
Natalia is another fan of eyes: "I love kind eyes, I think eyes are very important in a person. I like a hairy man and I like a beard! And guys who are mysterious."
She's an old school belieber which may show its influence in the villa.
"I’ve particularly got my eye on Callum and Finn. Also, I fancy Luke M. Maybe that’s my childhood crush on Justin Bieber resurfacing!"
She adds: "I think all the lads in the villa could get their heads turned, no couple in there seems strong enough not to be broken. I’m just going to go for it!"
Biggs Chris, 27 from Glasgow
Car Body Repair Specialist
"I’m a goofy, funny guy," says Biggs. "I’m all about being funny and bringing a funny vibe. A sexy, funny vibe of course…"
Cutting that down to three words? "Goofy, sexy, funny," rating himself a "humble 10" and biggs-ing up "My smile… or my arse" as his top feature.
He'd opt for Cardi B as his celeb crush, but admits "There’s something about Sharon Osbourne." (!)
He's currently eyeing up Sophie, Rebecca and Jess and when it comes to the other fellas? "I’m not worried about stepping on toes - I’ve got big feet."
George Day, 27, from Southampton
Estate Agent
"I’m going to be modest and give myself an 8.5 even though I think I am a 10," George says.
"My personality is my best feature, when people get to know me they do quickly like me. I like to be a gent too."
And it looks like he's looking for the real thing, too. He says Oasis weepie 'Stop Crying Your Heart Out' is the song that sums up his love life
"I’ve had two long term relationships and have had my heart broken twice so I’m hoping it’s third time lucky for me. The next girl I get with, I want it to be serious. I’m done with nights out, I want to Netflix and Chill!"
Just what Love Island is famous for. Ahem.
Alexi Eraclides, 23 from Essex
Butler in the Buff
The best job description we've ever had on Love Island? Quite possibly. "I’m a confident, outgoing guy," says Alexi and we can't say we're surprised with that dayjob,
"I meet girls through my job as a Butler in the Buff," he admits. "Then I do meet girls who slide into my DMs. Plus I meet girls on a night out."
His ideal first date. "I’d love an exotic date on a beach, dinner and drinks watching the sunset would be the dream."
And he's already got a bit of history with one of the girls...
"Since the beginning of the series, I’ve fancied Shaughna, she is definitely a bit of me," he said.
"Plus I’ve met Jess on a night out before, we exchanged Instagrams then we sent a few messages but nothing came of it. It’ll be interesting to see how we get on when we meet again..."
Josh Kempton, 21 from Surrey
Model
Another Islander who believes "you've got to back yourself", Josh gives himself 10/10 and addes that he gets "a lot of compliments for my blue eyes".
He's another one who meets potential dates on the gram, adding "It shows confidence when a girl messages first".
Model Josh seems certain that good looking people are kind for some reason. "I’m looking for someone naturally beautiful," he says.
"If you’re naturally beautiful you tend to be kind-hearted. Good eye contact is important as well. They need to make me laugh otherwise I’ll get bored."
A perfect date? Something fun like "Something fun, like Go Ape. I like an activity - you get over the embarrassment of looking silly and have fun. I hate people who have first dates at the cinema, there’s no point!"
Ched Uzor, 23, from Suffolk
Scaffolder
As you might expect from a scaffolder, "My arms are my best feature, " says Chez. "I get complimented on them a lot."
He (only) rates himself an 8/10, but says his love life song is "more 'Crazy in Love' than 'Tragedy'."
And he's ANOTHER one who's all about the 'gram. "Instagram is the way I get dates, everyone is sliding into the DMs!" he says. "It works for me most of the time."
In the villa though? "I’d like to go on a date with Rebecca. I also fancy Sophie and I also want to go
on a date with Siannise. I’m intrigued…"
Jordan Waobikeze, 24, from London
Administrator
"Easygoing, cheeky and spontaneous," Jordan maybe also has the most down-to-earth self-rating of all the new bombshells.
"I’m a solid 7.5 out of 10 whenever you see me but if I’ve got a fresh haircut and a tan, I’m an 8. My goatee beard is my best feature, I’m proud of this little beard."
Emilia Clark is his celeb crush, but he finds "dishonesty" a turn-off. A fun fact about Jordan is that: "I like to knit and I’m pretty good at it."
He doesn't seem all that picky, though. "I’m attracted to all of the girls because
they are all good looking," he says. "I’m looking forward to meeting them and seeing who I get on with."
