Love Island fans were shocked last night (March 12) as the show accidentally spoiled Will and Jessie's eviction, moments before the end of the episode.

During the show, ITV2 aired a clip for spin-off show Aftersun, which revealed the results to viewers before the dumping had been shown on screen.

In the clip, host Maya Jama can be seen saying: "Join me tonight in South Africa live from the villa. Dumped Islanders Will and Jessie and Casey and Rosie will be sharing the goss."

The clip then cut to Will and Jessie standing alongside recently dumped islanders Rosie and Casey as they waved to the camera.

Eagle-eyed fans were, of course, quick to pick up on the blunder, sharing their shock on social media.

"ITV having a mare, they’ve just revealed who was dumped," one person wrote, while filming the ad on their TV.

While second person tweeted: "Sorry did no one else just see that advert for Aftersun where they blatantly exposed that Will and Jessie are going home, what’s going on."

"How can this be the advert right before we see who is about to get dumped," a third person added.

The spoiler came just hours after Maya had seemingly leaked the news on her own Instagram story. "Producers saw Maya already leaked who got dumped so just thought to tell us on the advert for Aftersun," one viewer joked.

Will and Jessie were the final couple to be dumped from the villa after being voted the least compatible by fellow islanders, alongside Ron and Lana and Kai and Sanam.

The episode also saw the islanders get a visit from home, as friends and families flew in for a heartfelt reunion, ahead of tonight's live final.

Love Island airs nightly on ITV2, and is available via catch up on ITVX and BritBox.
