‘Love Island’ stars Chris and Harley become first couple to split after leaving the villa
Love Island contestants Chris Taylor and Harley Brash have reportedly become the first couple from the show to split, having left the villa three weeks ago.
Just 18 days after Amber Davies and Greg O’Shea won the ITV2 dating competition, Taylor and Brash have are said to have called it quits on their romance.
“Harley and Chris broke up a couple of days ago,” a source close to the twosome told The Sun Online. “It was really amicable and they both agreed they’ll stay friends.
“Sadly there’s no romance there - it was just a holiday fling.”

After failing to woo newbie India Reynolds - who entered the villa at the same time as Brash, and ultimately coupled-up with professional basketball player Ovie Soko - Taylor struck up a fast friendship with the Newcastle-based estate agent.
After realising they might have feelings for one another, the pair completed the remainder of their Love Island journey as a couple, before being dumped from the villa six days before the finale alongside Anna Vakili and Jordan Hames.
Despite appearing together on Good Morning Britain, Kiss FM and Heat Magazine's Under the Duvet YouTube series since returning to the UK, fans started speculating that Taylor and Brash had ended things after they sat separately at the reunion show on 4 August.
“Nobody wants to be the first couple to split up - it’s embarrassing and there’s so much pressure to stay together to make money,” the insider continued, explaining that the former couple has kept quiet so as not to miss out on any media opportunities.

“It’s all over but they don’t really want fans to know that - they’d rather someone else split up first!”
Three days ago, Taylor shared a throwback photo on Instagram of himself and Brash at Alton Towers, writing: “My golden crumpet, meet you at the fire pit in 10 mins... Missing you and the kids... see you very soon @harley_brash.”
However, the latter didn’t seem to respond to the post.
Just yesterday, Taylor and Brash filmed an episode of Rylan Clark-Neal’s upcoming Supermarket Sweep reboot - but the source claims that “they barely spoke to each other” during production.
“It was obvious there's nothing between them,” they recalled. "She arrived to filming first and he came separately - they were definitely faking it for the show."
