Love Island’s Dani Dyer says she was “shaking” as she met BBC MasterChef stars

Love Island star Dani Dyer has admitted she was “shaking” after meeting John Torode and Gregg Wallace on Celebrity MasterChef.
The reality star, who won the fourth series of the ITVBe reality show in 2018, will compete in the 18th celebrity edition of the BBC cooking show, which premieres on August 2.
Reflecting upon her time in the kitchen, Dani revealed that her family have always loved to cook, but said that approaching the judges was “scary.”

“I was scared of meeting them but they're so lovely, they were so warm,” she said. “I walked in and my heart was pounding out my chest but they’re really friendly, so it puts you at ease a little bit.
“I was shaking walking into that kitchen! We were all standing there going ‘who’s going in first, who’s going in first?’ No one wanted to walk in first but that moment of walking in was just… oh my god it was so scary,” she added.
The reality star will take place in the first heat alongside The Inbetweeners star James Buckley, comedian Marcus Brigstocke, BBC Radio 2 presenter and former Strictly Come Dancing contestant Richie Anderson, and Gogglebox’s Mica Ven.

“I think I just took loads of deep breaths and thought ‘right, this is what I've got to work with,’” she said of her time in the kitchen. “You can't take it too seriously, can you? You’ve just got to laugh. If in doubt, laugh.”
The other celebrities taking part in the series are Dave Benson Phillips, Luca Bish, Remi Burgz, Dianne Buswell, Terry Christian, Wynne Evans, Samantha Fox, Max George, Cheryl Hole, Jamelia, Locksmith, Shazia Mirza, Michael Praed, Amy Walsh and Allan Pineda Lindo (apl.de.ap).
Celebrity MasterChef season 18 premieres BBC One on August 2.
