Love Island has shared a tribute to Caroline Flack on the fourth anniversary of her death.

The presenter, who hosted the ITV2 show between 2015 and 2019, passed away in February 2020, with her death later ruled a suicide by a coroner.

Sharing a moving black-and-white version of the below photograph of Flack on their Instagram Stories today (February 15), Love Island wrote alongside: "Caroline. Always in our hearts."

Many others have shared emotional tributes today, including comedian Leigh Francis, who shared a drawing of the late star with the words "#BeKind".

"Always feels like she's on holiday. I hope she's having the best time. Miss you," he wrote in the caption.

Laura Whitmore, who succeeded Flack as Love Island presenter, shared a picture in her Stories of the two together, accompanied by a white heart, while her husband and Love Island narrator Iain Stirling posted a picture of the two with a red heart.

At the time of Flack's passing, Stirling paid an emotional on-air tribute to the star, saying they "are all absolutely devastated by the tragic news".

"Caroline and me were together from the very start of Love Island, and her passion, warmth and infectious enthusiasm were a crucial part of what made the show connect with millions of viewers," he said.

"Like many of you, right now we're just trying to come to terms with what has happened. My only hope is that we can all try and be kinder, always show love, and listen to one another. Caroline, I want to thank you for all the fun times we had, making our favourite show. You were a true friend to me. I'm going to miss you, Caz."
