Love Island star Montana Brown signs up to volunteer for the NHS
Love Island's Montana Brown is one of hundreds of thousands of people who have signed up to volunteer for the NHS, as the UK government continues to roll out measures aimed to protect those who are vulnerable from coronavirus (COVID-19).
The former Islander revealed that she had joined the voluntary scheme on Instagram, and the reality star is now waiting for the "call up" after registering for the service.
In a post shared to Instagram Stories, Montana told fans that she volunteered to "drop off people's medicine and to also transport machines from hospital to hospital". "But I haven't got the call up yet," she added.

Worried that she might not be able to help, the Love Island favourite wondered if she'd "either not passed the DBS check yet or something's gone wrong".
Writing on her story, she joked that she would even perform a dance routine on people's doorsteps to cheer them up. "Obviously within distance," she reassured followers.
The NHS volunteer scheme, which was launched earlier this week, is open to anyone who is over 18, fit and well, and with no symptoms of COVID-19. Volunteers may be asked to deliver medicine, drive patients to and from appointments, or even check in and chat with those who are staying at home.
