Demi Jones made a hilarious blunder on Thursday's (January 18) edition of Love Island: All Stars as she tried to avoid an awkward situation.

The star has been involved in something of a love triangle in the villa after first being paired up with Chris Taylor.

Demi caught the eye of Mitchel Taylor, who had been paired up with Kaz Kamwi, leading him to eventually brand her his "number one" in the villa.

But not long after Mitchel's declaration, Demi shared a passionate kiss with Luis Morrison, who she'd been getting to know while he also got to know Kaz.

After Demi kissed Luis on Thursday, she went to the dressing room to fix her makeup but found Kaz and Chris in there having a one on one.

Not wanting to make things awkward, Demi declared: "Oh, hello! Sorry, I've just got to get my phone."

However, eagled-eye fans (and Kaz and Chris presumably) could see that Demi was clearly holding her phone while she pretended to look for it.

On X (formerly Twitter), one fan wrote: "Demi 'sorry just gotta get my phone' whilst holding her phone in her hand??".

Another added: "Demi: sorry just coming to get my phone. Proceeds to put the phone on the table and act like she’s looking for it 😭"

A third person said: "Demi running in to the room with excitement then see Kaz and Chris, says just getting my phone, it’s in your hand 🤣"

Thursday's episode ended on a cliffhanger with the first recoupling looming over the villa, with the girls getting to choose which boy they'd like to be paired up with.

But there was a twist as before the girls could make their minds up, Josh received a text announcing he'd get to choose who to couple up with first. So who will he choose?

Love Island: All Stars launches on Monday, January 15 at 9pm on ITV1, ITV2, ITVX & STV.
