Love Island's Chris Hughes discusses difficult split from Jesy Nelson

Love Island star Chris Hughes has opened up about his "difficult" split from former Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson.
The pair started dating back in 2019, but called it a day last year.
Speaking to The Sun on Sunday, Chris said: "It was a tough period in a lot of people's personal lives and it was for me too, as break-ups are never easy.
"It was difficult. Sometimes you just grow apart. There have definitely been days when I wake up and things haven't felt great."

Despite that however, Chris went on to say that he and Jesy still get along with each other.
"We're very good friends and we enjoyed all that time together," he added. "I look back and I don't look at anything with regret.
"We still support each other and it was just a period in life where you move on.

"But it's nice to look back on the good memories of my relationships with Jesy and there were plenty of good times. There's no reason to not like each other."
Chris publicly supported Jesy when she announced that she was leaving Little Mix in December. She cited the toll being in the group was taking on her mental health, and explained that she needed to focus on making herself happy.
