Former Love Island star Hayley Hughes has announced her baby son's name in a new social media post.

The reality TV star, known for taking part in the fourth season of the ITV2 dating show, has recently welcomed a baby boy with her boyfriend, whose identity she has chosen to keep private.

In a new Instagram post, Hayley shared a few pictures and videos of her baby, also confirming he's been named Cody.

Back in 2018, Hayley entered the Love Island villa on Day 1 and was eliminated just short of two weeks later alongside Charlie Frederick.

Following her stint on the show, she made headlines for accusing producers of the show of editing footage to make her appear like she'd "come out with anything", particularly in relation to her infamous Brexit questions.

"There were conversations viewers didn't see. I wasn't just sitting there saying Brexit would affect the trees – there was more to it," she told the Daily Star Sunday at the time.

"Obviously, the show is only an hour long and they have to clip it down. So what I was saying didn't make sense.

"It looked like I'd just come out with anything. You talk about anything in the villa because you have got so much time to spare," she added.

Love Island airs on ITV2 and streams on ITVX.
