Reality TV stars Megan Barton Hanson and James Lock appeared to confirm rumours they are a couple in recent Instagram posts.

Both posted Instagram stories at the weekend (October 9) of a night out in Essex, which showed them hugging and drinking cocktails at Aspera Restaurant, near Basildon.

The couple were snuggled up and she was playing with his hair, talking about whether her new beau should get it trimmed.

They were also spotted out on a shopping trip together in Essex today (October 12) holding hands.

Rumours have been circulating about the couple for weeks, after they were spotted kissing in Mayfair last month.

It was recently confirmed that Love Island star Megan had signed up for Ex on the Beach, where fans believe she and James met.

Lock has previously dated his co-stars from The Only Way is Essex, including his ex-girlfriend Yazmin Oukhellou, and Chloe Brockett, who he cheated on Yazmin with.

Brockett previously said their relationship was "just sex" and expected him to "get back with" Yazmin.

Lockie and Yazmin were due to confront one another on Ex on the Beach as well, but she reportedly pulled out just hours before they were due to film the upcoming series.

Despite never being on the show, Megan has also dated James's co-star Demi Sims.

Megan met TOWIE star Demi on Celebs Go Dating back in 2020, but split after a short-but-sweet relationship. Earlier this year, the ex-couple came back to TV screens on BBC series Eating with My Ex to hash out their break-up.

The TV personality came out as bisexual in 2019 and during a speech at Cambridge Union earlier this year, said she would "definitely" return to Love Island if they created an LGBTQ+ inclusive season.
