Love Island's Paige Thorne slams co-stars 'talking s*** to stay relevant'

Paige Thorne has hit out at some of her fellow Love Island contestants, accusing them of "chatting s***" to "stay relevant" since leaving the show. Oh dear.

The 24-year-old paramedic from Swansea came fifth in this year's competition, after being dumped alongside partner Adam Collard just before the live final. Since then, as well as appearing in Cosmopolitan's Text On The Beach franchise, she also popped onto 2021 finalist Toby Aromolaran's Fancy a Chat? podcast.

During which, Toby asked Paige what she thought of some of her fellow contestants talking about her since leaving the villa. Fans think he's referring to Danica Taylor's admission that she 'wished' she confronted Paige over the night Antigoni Buxton was dumped from the villa, adding, "Not gonna lie now I’ve watched it back, I’ve seen how Paige was when Antigoni left and it was very clear she wanted me to go."

In the new interview, Toby asked, "How are you feeling about, obviously, there's podcasts flying around here, there, everywhere.. And there's always this thing where people always talk about everyone else. How do you feel about that? [About] people just talking..."

Paige replied, "Do you know what? People have got to do what they’ve got to do, haven’t they? Do you know what I mean? And if you’ve got to talk s**t about somebody else to keep yourself relevant, then okay, that’s fine.

"That’s absolutely fine, but that’s not my vibe. Why can’t you focus on yourself and all the positive things."

Eek. Let's hope there's no bad blood between these two.
