TikTok star Alix Earle apparently has a new beau, but not everyone is popping open the champagne.

In a video Sunday, the recent UM grad showed her 5 million plus followers a cryptic clip briefly embracing someone in bed. The fellow wasn’t tagged or named but eagle eyed social media users put two and two together.

The guy? The Miami Dolphins’ Braxton Berrios. He and the influencer were rumored to be in a thing as far back as March, when Earle posted a video getting ready to make sushi with a mystery man.

The comely couple were also seen weeks later looking cozy trackside at Formula One race at Hard Rock Stadium.

And, last weekend, the fashionista, after being photographed with the hunk in the Hamptons, finally included him in a post, despite not showing his handsome face (the dude in the bed).

Ah, young love. So, what’s the issue?

That would be Berrios’ ex, Sophia Culpo, beauty queen Olivia Culpo’s sister, who apparently shaded her ex, referring to him as a narcissist, in a since deleted TikTok, captured by online sleuths.

It was a serious looking selfie with the caption, “Me, when the new supply catches on...Give it a few but call me when the love bombing ends. I gotchu.”

Normally private, Berrios took to his Instagram Stories Tuesday to address the “weird” and “sad” situation.

“I don’t want to start anything. I don’t want to fuel anything,” he says to the camera in selfie mode while sitting in a car. “I genuinely want all of this to be over and everybody to move on and do whatever makes them happy.”

The 27-year-old explained that he and Culpo split organically back in January before anything started with anyone else.

“I was in a relationship for two years. It was a good relationship, it was a healthy one,” said the North Carolina native. “And towards the end of it, we had conversations along the lines of we just weren’t working out. “We just didn’t work out, and that’s OK.”

The former Jet ended his clip telling his fans that he really didn’t want to be in this position.

“It’s been very weird and sad to see kind of what’s gone on since then, I’ve been quiet because it’s totally out of character for me to talk about my private life, publicly. But I feel like it needed to be touched on now.”

At least Sophia can lean on older sister Olivia, who knows a thing or two about athletes stepping out. Back in 2018, the beauty queen split with then Miami Dolphins player Danny Amendola after he was snapped looking way friendly with sports/traffic reporter Bianca Castillo Peters in (where else?) Miami.
