Comedy duo #IMOMSOHARD pulls into the Gallo Center for the Arts. There are several other shows planned at the downtown venue, with plenty more entertainment set for the Modesto region from Sept. 30-Oct. 7.

#IMOMSOHARD

Kristin Hensley and Jen Smedley make up the comedy duo #IMOMSOHARD, bringing its “Getaway Tour” to the Gallo Center. The duo are real-life best friends, comedians and moms.

“To Kill a Mockingbird”

Gallo Center Repertory Company presents the classic tale “To Kill a Mockingbird,” based on the book by Harper Lee. It marks 10 years since the Gallo Center partnered with Prospect Theater Project to present the play, which led to the founding of the Valley’s only African American theater organization, Sankofa Theatre Company. The production will honor the upcoming retirement of artistic director Jim Johnson after the 2022-23 season.

Judy Collins

Folk-rock singer Judy Collins brings her music to the Gallo Center. In the 1960s, she evoked the idealism and determination of a generation united against social and environmental injustices.

Kathy Mattea and Suzy Bogguss

Country music’s Kathy Mattea and Suzy Bogguss have each carved out successful careers. Bogguss’ “Outbound Plane,” “Aces” and “Someday Soon” are among her hits. Mattea is known for “455 Rocket,” “Where’ve You Been?” and “Eighteen Wheels and a Dozen Roses.” The bring their music together to the Gallo Center.

The Manhattan Transfer

The Manhattan Transfer brings its pop and jazz music to the Gallo Center. The quartet has won 10 Grammy Awards with 20 nominations and has been inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame.

Ronstadt Revival

Ronstadt Revival is a Southern California tribute group to Linda Ronstadt, coming to the State Theatre. It performs songs from Ronstadt’s 1967 beginnings with The Stone Poneys to her solo hit music. Among the songs will be “You’re No Good,” “Blue Bayou,” “When Will I Be Loved,” “Tracks of My Tears” and more.
