Loving son offers music therapy to his dying father

Singer-songwriter Joe Fraley wanted to find a way to lift his father's spirits. He decided to do it with music.

His father, 79-year-old Joseph Fraley, is terminally ill. Joe left his job a few months ago to take care of his dad in Kapa'a, Kauai County, Hawaii.

As Joe plays his guitar and sings an original tune, his father lights up.

Joseph worked as a Hollywood screenwriter and later, as a film instructor. Before his writing career, Joseph flew rescue helicopters during the Vietnam War and was part of the Apollo 8 recovery crew in 1968, according to IMDB.com.

It's clear from his son's heartfelt song that he's also beloved by his family.
