This Low-cost Airline Has Flights to Europe for As Low As $139 — When to Book

The Norse Atlantic Airways sale ends April 6.

The global low-cost carrier Norse Atlantic Airways has launched a new springtime sale for travelers looking to book a low-cost European getaway.

The "Explorer's Sale" — which ends April 6 — features flights as low as $139 one-way from New York City, Los Angeles, and other cities to major tourist destinations across Europe including London, Berlin, and Paris.

“Whether traveling during your upcoming spring break or already thinking about summer travels, with these attractive prices, flying to Europe has never looked better,” said Norse Atlantic Airways Commercial Director Bård Nordhagen in a statement provided to Travel + Leisure. 

From New York City’s John F. Kennedy International Airport, travelers can fly one-way to Oslo, Norway for $139, London Gatwick for $149, Berlin, Germany for $169, Paris, France for $169, and Rome, Italy for $199. Norse also shares that effective March 25, passengers flying on the airline between New York City’s JFK airport and Berlin, Oslo or Paris will now use Terminal 7 in JFK.

From Los Angeles International Airport, travelers can fly one-way to London Gatwick for $179, and Oslo, Norway for $199.

The airline is also offering deals from Boston to London Gatwick at $139, and Fort Lauderdale, Florida to Oslo, Norway for $159 & London Gatwick for $169. Additional deals are available to London Gatwick from Washington, D.C. (IAD) for $169, Orlando, Florida for $169, and San Francisco for $179.

Norse shares that the fares published as part of the sale are in the Economy Light class, and are one-way, per adult passenger. The prices listed are inclusive of all taxes and fees, but travelers may pay extra for luggage, seating assignments, or other perks. Economy Light offers one underseat bag, and tickets are changeable for a fee. The Economy Classic permits one underseat bag and one carry-on bag under 22 pounds.

Norse Atlantic Airways was launched in March 2021 to offer low-cost tickets on transatlantic routes. The airline operates its flights on 15 Boeing 787 Dreamliners that offer personal entertainment systems at every seat. The airline has upgrades for Premium cabins that offer “industry leading” 43” of seat pitch, and 12” of recline.
