The rush back to school in Duval County, and throughout NE Florida, will be dry and comfortably cool. Action News Jax Meteorologist Corey Simma says it will be a little bit hotter this afternoon versus Sunday, but we will still enjoy lower humidity.
Highs over the weekend were in the mid 80s. Today, we will reach the lower 90s inland and 80s at the coast. We will once again be dry under mostly sunny skies.
Tomorrow, we will see some humidity return and an isolated shower or storm in the afternoon. Afternoon storms pick up in coverage by Wednesday and Thursday. Both days will be very humid and hot.
By Friday storms become a little more scattered in coverage and temperatures will remain in the low 90s.
TROPICS: We are tracking an area well south of Bermuda that has a low possibility of development.
