Low pressure forecast to move towards the lower Texas Coast

Low chance tropical development for weak low South of the South Central Coast of Louisiana. The system is not forecast to develop anywhere near us. It has a low chance development off the lower Coast of Texas Saturday night or Sunday morning. We never want too much rain at once, but it will bring needed rain to South Texas and help cut the heat. Scattered rain this evening will diminish. There is a low risk excessive rainfall Saturday. The difference from recent heavy rains is that this rain is moving. It is not sitting over one area and dumping heavy rain. Highs will be in the upper 80s to near 90. Less rain forecast Sunday. That means it will be hotter. Highs forecast in the low 90s. Hotter the first of next week too. Highs low 90s. 30% rain and storms in the afternoon.
