Low turnout for early voting and mail-in among El Dorado County voters

With the threat of severe weather, county officials are doing what they can to make sure every vote is counted come election day. In El Dorado County the elections office is working with the sheriff’s department as well as road crews and they’re dropping off generators to voting polls as a backup if the power goes out. "Primarily in South Lake Tahoe the amount of snow they’re talking about 2 - 3 ft could end up closing down some of the areas up there and make it really difficult for people to get to vote centers or drop boxes," said Bill O'Neill, El Dorado County Register.
