Lowell School launches Food Truck Fridays

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — The Historic Lowell School Building, along with the Lowell Village Metro District and Dango Burrito, will host Food Truck Fridays starting March 1.

Lowell School Food Truck Fridays will take place at the Historic Lowell School Building, the former R-5 high school building being restored as a partnership with the Grand Junction Downtown Development Authority.

Lowell School Food Truck Fridays is more than just a culinary event; it’s a celebration of community. We believe creating a public space where people can come together… and support local businesses and civic groups is integral to building a strong and connected community.

Food Truck Fridays will include a variety of different food options from local vendors, beer selections from Gemini Brewing Company, music and showcases of local artists. Organizers aim to be “a catalyst for creating lasting connections, promoting local talent and fostering a sense of pride in the Western Slope community.”

We are proud to partner with the Historic Lowell School Building to bring Lowell Food Truck Fridays to life. This event aligns perfectly with our commitment to supporting the local community and providing unique culinary experiences.
