Lower Shore has trio of big Maryland Lottery winners — where and when they bought tickets

Two Maryland Lottery players won $100,000 in the latest announcement of big winners, with one of them coming in Princess Anne.

The Lower Shore also had two other big winners this week.

Princess Anne's $100,000-winning ticket was sold in the $100,000 Extreme Cash game at the Thirsty's store at 12020 Somerset Ave. Also sold on the Lower Shore were a $50,000-winning ticket in the $50,000 Cash game, sold at the Royal Farms store at 10633 Ocean Gateway in Berlin, and a $10,000-winning ticket in the Big Cash RIches game sold at the Hobbs Road Gas Station at 31373 Old Ocean City Road, Salisbury.

The other $100,000-winning ticket was sold in Brooklyn Park, while a total of 17 tickets worth $50,000 each were sold at locations across the state from Annapolis to Waldorf.

In all, the seven days ending March 5 produced 47 winning tickets worth $10,000 or more that were sold or redeemed across Maryland, and the Lottery paid nearly $42.2 million in prizes during that span.

Winners of prizes larger than $25,000 must redeem their tickets at the Maryland Lottery Claims Center in Baltimore, which is open by appointment only. Prizes of up to $5,000 can be claimed at any of more than 400 Expanded Cashing Authority Program (XCAP) locations. All Maryland Lottery retailers are authorized to redeem tickets up to and including $600. More information is available on the How To Claim page of mdlottery.com.
