Lowe's damaged in Piscataway fire Monday
PISCATAWAY – A two-alarm fire damaged the Lowe's Home Improvement store on Centennial Avenue Monday afternoon.
Firefighters responded around 1:27 p.m. Monday on reports of a fire at the store. Upon arrival, firefighters saw heavy smoke from the roof and found a solar panel that was on fire, according to authorities.
The fire was put out by 3 p.m. and no one was injured.
Firefighters from Arbor, Holmes Marshall, New Market, North Stelton, Possumtown, River Road Fire Company, East Franklin, Edison Township, and Piscataway responded, authorities said.
