Missing 85-year-old man in Lynchburg found safe

UPDATE: 2/16 LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR) — The Lynchburg Police Department says missing 85-year-old Carl Sensabaugh was found safe and unharmed on Feb. 15.

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR)—The Lynchburg Police Department is searching for a missing and endangered adult.

According to the police department, officers received a report at 5 p.m. that 85-year-old Carl Sensabaugh was missing. Police say he was last seen on Thursday, Feb. 15 at around 12:05 p.m. in the area near Acorn Hill Lodge on Old Forest Road.

He is considered endangered due to a cognitive disability.

Police say he drove away from Acorn Hill Lodge in a gray 2005 Chevrolet Impala with a red, white, and blue Ruritan Club Sticker on the rear portion of the driver’s side.
