Details: The media reports that despite suspicion and work for Russia, Anofriev heads the Dniprovagonrembud enterprise and signs contracts with state enterprises.

Journalists claim that in September 2022, his plant signed a contract with the state enterprise Ukrainian Research Institute of Car Building, and in December 2022 a contract for major repairs of gondolas with the state enterprise Eastern Mining and Processing Plant.

Anofriev was detained in April 2021. He was given a preventive measure in the form of a night house arrest.

After the investigation was completed, his case was transferred to the Markivka District Court, a court in Luhansk Oblast.

The preparatory hearing on this case was scheduled two months before the start of a full-scale Russian invasion.

After the invasion of the Russian Federation, Markivka was occupied. The court, along with the investigation materials, was under occupation.

The prosecutor's office of Luhansk Oblast explained that the Markivka Court, which is currently under occupation, should transfer the materials to the Pokrovsky court in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

According to the investigation, Anofriev organised and headed his terrorist group in 2014, which was part of the so-called "Almighty Don Host".

His "group" was also considered to be involved in the abduction of people for ransom and the murder of an SSU employee, Major Tymur Hetmanskyi.

In the Ukraine-controlled territory, Anofriev managed to head one of the structures of Ukrzaliznytsia, ran for Kharkiv Oblast Council, openly published photos with "LPR" and other terrorists on social media, and travelled to the occupied territories.

The media note that now his enterprise is still working, and Anofriev himself is living peacefully in the city of Dnipro.
