LSJ's big Thanksgiving issue publishing on Wednesday; available on newsstands that morning

While cooks everywhere are planning their Thanksgiving meals, Team LSJ is developing its menu of stories for the holiday week.

The Thanksgiving paper typically is among the largest of the year, and we have some special news content planned to go along with the feast of advertising you need to get your holiday shopping started.

This highly anticipated Thanksgiving issue will publish Wednesday to allow you extra time to plan your shopping or knock out that two-page crossword puzzle!

Thursday's newspaper will be an e-edition, which will allow our delivery personnel to enjoy the holiday, too.

In Wednesday’s super issue, you’ll find a story about how a family created through adoption has expanded because of unwavering love. Team LSJ will share what it is about Michigan that makes us thankful. We’ll have curated shopping lists on Michigan-themed books, Michigan experiences worthy of giving and Lansing area subscriptions that will keep giving throughout the year. We’ll even provide some ideas of what to do on Thanksgiving weekend when you just have to get out of the house.

In Sports, Graham Couch shares four reasons Michigan State fans should be thankful. He’ll also advance Michigan State’s men’s basketball game against Arizona, set for 4 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day.

The LSJ has early press deadlines throughout the holiday weekend, so if you’re looking for breaking news or updated sports news, I’ll remind you to head to www.lsj.com. As always, we’ll be updating that as news happens.

From our Team LSJ family to yours, Happy Thanksgiving.
