LSU baseball score vs. Tulane: Live updates from nonconference matchup in New Orleans

No. 1 LSU baseball will look to capture another win in nonconference play this week as the Tigers face Tulane in New Orleans on Tuesday, (6 p.m., ESPN+).

The Tigers (26-5) had the final game of their three-game series with No. 5 South Carolina canceled on Saturday but defeated the Gamecocks on Friday in comeback fashion, 8-7.

A grand slam from Gavin Guidry with two outs in the eighth inning tied the game at seven for LSU. Cade Beloso's RBI single in the ninth delivered the Tigers the lead before Gavin Guidry closed out the game with 1⅔ innings of shutout baseball.

LSU also lost the first game of the series, 13-5.

Tulane (9-23) lost the final two games of its series with South Florida last week after winning Game 1 of the series 5-2.
