LSU basketball score vs. Georgia in the SEC Tournament: Live updates

LSU basketball will try to keep its season alive when it faces Georgia in the first round of the SEC Tournament in Nashville on Wednesday (8:30 p.m., SEC Network).

The Tigers (13-18, 2-16) enter the tournament as the No. 14 and lowest seed in the bracket. Georgia (16-15, 6-12) is the No. 11 seed.

LSU fell at Florida to finish its regular season on Saturday, 79-67. The Tigers dropped all but one of their final 18 games of the season, their only win coming against Vanderbilt on Feb. 22.

The winner of this game will face the sixth-seeded Commodores in the tournament on Thursday (8 p.m., SEC Network).

The Tigers nearly defeated Georgia when the two teams squared off back on Feb. 14. LSU had the lead with 11 seconds left, but the Bulldogs pulled off the win in Athens thanks to a go-ahead layup from guard Justin Hill with seven seconds remaining. Georgia won by a final score of 65-63.
