LSU basketball score vs. Vanderbilt live updates for the SEC Tournament

LSU basketball will try to keep its season alive when it faces Vanderbilt in the second round of the SEC Tournament on Thursday (approximately 8:38 p.m., SEC Network) at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.

The Tigers defeated No. 11 seed Georgia in the first round of the tournament on Wednesday, 72-67.

LSU, the No. 14 seed, held a 12-point halftime lead before the Bulldogs rallied. The Tigers shot just 31% from the field and went 1-for-7 from 3-point range in the second half.

Vanderbilt, the No. 6 seed, will be playing its first game of the tournament. The Tigers defeated the Commodores 84-77 in their only matchup of the season on Feb. 22.
